HOOLIGAN is an independent film production company based in Los Angeles.

Stacey Souther is an award-winning Los Angeles-based filmmaker, producer, and actor drawn to distinctive lives and compelling personal stories. He directed and produced Valerie (2019), a documentary portrait of actress Valerie Perrine that qualified for the 2021 Academy Awards. He also produced You Cannot Kill David Arquette (2020), which premiered at SXSW, and Come With Me (2026).

His upcoming documentary, Transitioning in Place: Discovering Stu Rasmussen, began with the discovery of a video camera in a West Hollywood thrift store—leading him to an extraordinary life in Silverton, Oregon.
